"The Cry" directed by Bruno Aveillan - 4K
Those who know me know that I am extremely sensitive to the great causes of human and animal protection. This film, made for the association 30 millions d'amis, denounces the mistreatment of animals from a different angle than the one usually presented.
Alongside the important work of L214's undercover videos, which reveal the violence and barbaric treatment to which animals are subjected, my aim with this film was to propose a more introspective approach, to shed more light on the intimate suffering of these beings. The so-called 'animals' are portrayed as they really are: living, delicate beings imbued with remarkable emotion and sensitivity.
As this concept places sound at the heart of the experience, I recommend the use of headphones... The sound production is the work of AOC, while the music was composed by the eminent Icelandic artist Ólafur Arnalds.

I was moved beyond my imagination with this film. Words can't describe how beautifully this was shot. I've now watched this 3x and the same feelings each time arose. While telling the story of how one of the most famous Chateaus in the world came to be, may be one of the best film makers has come forward. I can't express my feelings enough of this simple story told thru the eyes of the imagination and lens. BRAVO.... and Merci

Qu'est ce que tu fous en France si ton grand père a lutté dans le FLN. Il a gagné et qu'a t il fait de mon pays...un désastre. Reste à Issy les Moulineaux. Laisse nous l'Algérie. Ah non il vous faut tout envahir tout changer tout détruire...construire non, ça c'est pour les cons des européens.
Vous avez volé mon pays, ma maison, mes souvenirs, ma mère qui vient de mourir loin de sa maison, celle qui apparait au premier plan de port aux poules..... vous avez détruit ce pays si beau. Tout ce que vous avez obtenu est abandonné, sale et misérable. Le film est magnifique. La fille est belle et prétencieuse. Intelligente certes et sensible. Mais quelle destruction et les filles de Tlemcen habillées comme de jeunes mariées sont en vente. Restez dans ce pays merveilleux qu'on vous a laissé et reconstruisez le. Ce sont aussi toutes mes racines et je ne peux pas y revenir. Vous m'avez volé la maison de ma mère et mes souvenirs......
